Gemfest is over for another year. Our Congratulations go to the Committee for organizing another Great Show which involves a lot of unseen work. A Big Thank you must go to the locals & visitors (to the Gemfields) who volunteer their time & effort to assist in the running of the Show. There was talk of making the next show a 3 day event but after lots of feedback, the committee have voted for it to remain a 4 day show.  So when planning your trip next year, keep these dates in mind August 6th to 9th.

Tip of the month: Computer Backups – Don’t forget email addresses
Backup your computer data on a regular basis. Our computer died the Sunday before Gemfest and unfortunately I had not made a back up file of my emails addresses for a few weeks so I lost some.  If anyone knows of where to look on a hard drive for emails after a computer has crashed I would love to know.
